Political Science - News and Events

Congratulations to our 2021 Outstanding Seniors in Political Science Award winners. Students were selected by Department of Political Science faculty for their outstanding work in and out of the classroom.

Harper Anderson (Morehead, KY) will attend the University of Tennessee School of Law as a Tennessee Law Scholar.

Ethan Berg (Buffalo, NY) is returning to Buffalo to work before pursuing law or graduate school. He will also finalize his historical fiction manuscript he is working on.

Derek Collins (Hattiesburg, MS) will move to Washington, DC immediately after graduation to intern with the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee and Congressman James Clyburn’s office while applying for post-graduate scholarships.

Oliver Talmadge (Gallatin, TN) is moving to New York City for an internship before applying to law school.

Joshua Zaczek (Louisville, KY) is taking a gap year to work before attending law school.
