Kelsey Truxal serves as a pedagogical assistant professor at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She earned her associate, bachelor, and master’s degrees from WKU before attending law school at the University of Louisville, eventually gaining bar admission in both Indiana and Kentucky. Her legal practice focuses primarily on criminal and family law, while her teaching philosophy centers on integrating traditional lecture methods with the use of artificial intelligence to enhance individual learning in the modern age. Her main areas of interest include applying AI in both the classroom and the legal field.
Outside of her professional life, Professor Truxal is a wife and mother of three children, two cats and two dogs. She previously operated a goat and chicken farm in southern Indiana. Her personal interests include crocheting projects for her family, deciphering Taylor Swift easter eggs, and studying the Salem Witch Trials.
