Presented by Aloma Dew

Aloma Willams Dew is a native of Owensboro and has a BA in History from Murray State University and an MA in History from Louisiana State University. She currently serves as co-chair, with husband Lee Dew, for the Daviess County Bicentennial Committee. She taught as an adjunct lecturer at Kentucky Wesleyan College for over twenty years.

She was co-editor with Lee Dew of the new Daviess County History and co-authored "Owensboro - CIty on the Yellow Banks (A History of Owensboro)" with Lee Dew. She has served as chair of the Kentucky Environmental Quality Commission Policy Institute and the Thomas D. Clark Foundation. Dew has been active in environmental and women's issues locally and state-wide for many years.
