WKU Elizabethtown – Fort Knox Calendar

**Students can start exam anytime between 3:30pm-5:00pm est.  Exam must be finished by the 6pm Orientation time.

They started the season with a 3-1 win against Asbury University. You will have the chance to see them play at home on Tuesday, September 2 against Cincinnati Christian University varsity team. The game is at 6 p.m. at T.K.Stone Middle School in Elizabethtown. Admission is free! Come and cheer YOUR Barons soccer team to victory!

To Be Eligible to Attend Teacher Orientation, Students MUST

1. Have taken or currently enorlled in EDU201 at ECTC or EDU250/MGE275/SMED301 at WKU
2. Have taken a Teacher Orientation Exam Scoring 85% or higher - See Exam Schedule Below

Take the Following Items with you to Orientation

1. Acceptable Test Score
2. Photo of Yourself
3. Copy of transcript showing grades for ENG101, ENG102 and COM181
4. Names & Address of Instructors who will provide your recommendations

WKU will be helping to host a Bat Night celebration at Mammoth Cave National Park on Saturday, Sept. 6. Evening activities will take place at the Historic Entrance and will include opportunities to use night vision and thermal infrared equipment to watch the bats exit the cave, to use bat detectors to listen to the bats flying overhead, to see the different type of insects that the bats might be eating, and to watch scientists capture and examine live bats.
