WKU to Offer Virtual HACCP Certification Workshop this Spring

This April, WKU will offer a virtual Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) workshop for food manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and others responsible for meat and poultry products production. The workshop is accredited by the International HACCP Alliance, which ensures consistent USDA Food Safety & Inspection Service regulations compliance.
The workshop will take place Thursday, April 22 and Friday, April 23 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. via Zoom and will cover vital topics ranging from HACCP regulations and potential hazards during production, to hazard analysis practices and monitoring methods and verification. The workshop fee is $500 and covers all training, materials, and certificate.
Upon completion, participants will receive a HACCP-trained certification and be added to a registry maintained by the International HACCPO Alliance.
