82 Local Sophomores Admitted to the Early College at WKU in Glasgow Class of 2026
Eighty-two local high school sophomores have been selected for the next Early College at WKU in Glasgow class.
Starting this fall, the new class of 82 students will study alongside other WKU students and their senior peers taking college coursework within their chosen Professional Career Tracks. The early college students will graduate high school with 30 hours of college credit.
“WKU in Glasgow is delighted to welcome the newest Hilltoppers to the second cohort to our Early College program,” said Dr. Derick B. Strode, Director, Regional Campuses and Dual Credit.
They include 19 students from Allen County-Scottsville High School, 16 from Barren County High School, 14 from Glasgow High School, 13 from Hart County High School, 10 from Monroe County High School, seven from Metcalfe County High School, and three from Caverna High School.
“These high-performing students were accepted because they have the academic readiness and determination to finish their freshmen year of college while they earn their high school degrees. We are grateful to our seven partner high schools for sharing these scholars with us.”
