WKU in Glasgow will host two separate open houses on Thursday, October 3 designed for specific high school students: a daytime event for homeschooled students and an evening event for Hispanic students.
Senior Regional Academic Advisor Stephanie Prichard said the events are designed to provide specific information for each unique group of students.
Prichard said that Ready. Set. Hilltopper! events are designed to bring students and their parents to WKU in Glasgow so they can get to know the campus, meet staff, and learn more about the admissions process, advising, and financial aid/scholarship opportunities.
“There are many students, however, who may have very specific questions based on their unique high school experience,” said Prichard.
“Our goal for these two events is to provide one space for each demographic in order the address their specific questions,” she stated.
The homeschool open house will take place from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. The Hispanic student open house begins at 5:30 p.m. Attending students may be eligible for an application waiver, saving them $50.
Students and their families can register in advance for their session by visiting https://www.wku.edu/.../gla.../ready-set-hilltopper-rsvp.php.
