Bowling Green, Kentucky – Western Kentucky University’s Bachelor of Arts in Sociology

Sociology degree program has been ranked among the top 12 best online Bachelor of Sociology degrees in the nation.

The ranking came from TheBestSchools.org, an organization that connects prospective students with the best online degree programs available by providing in-depth rankings of degree programs based on academic excellence, return on investment and indirect or secondary benefits.

The online Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at WKU focuses on sociability and social behavior in the context of human nature. Students complete 31 credit hours in major and elective courses, including a senior seminar. Students can customize their curriculum by focusing their studies on specific areas such as research methods & evaluation, criminology & deviance or social psychology.

The program is offered online through a partnership between the WKU Department of Sociology and the Division of Extended Learning & Outreach (DELO). Western Kentucky University is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Commission on Colleges.
