The Society for Lifelong Learning at WKU (SLL) will host its annual fall Open House on Sunday, August 26 from 2-4 p.m.
“This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the wide variety of classes we have planned during the fall term and to meet some of the instructors who will teach them,” said Cindy Ehresman, lifelong learning program manager. The fall term takes place September 18-November 8.
“Attendees can also learn more about membership and determine which option best fits their needs,” added Ehresman.
Staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions and help with membership registration and class enrollment.
SLL is a member-driven organization for people 50+ who are interested in intellectually-stimulating programs and experiences. Members enjoy access to a wide variety of events and courses, from art, music and culture to economics, history and science – and much more.
Everyone is invited to the open house, including SLL members, faculty, staff and anyone interested in learning more. The event takes place at the Knicely Conference Center located at 2355 Nashville Road. Coffee and desserts will be served, and a brief annual meeting will begin at 3:30.
