Bio
Melanie Evans is a graduate of the Corporate and Organizational Communication Program at Western Kentucky University and the College Student Personnel Master's Degree from the University of Louisville. In July of 2014, Melanie returned to WKU to serve as the Coordinator for Sexual Assault Services and Student Conduct, where she coordinates support services and case management for students involved in the Title IX process. Additionally, Melanie organizes outreach and educational efforts for the Office of Student Conduct and provides support to the Professional Development workgroup of the Division of Enrollment and Student Experience. Melanie serves on the Sexual Assault Interagency Council for the Barren River region of Kentucky, and the Bowling Green Sexual Assault Prevention Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month planning committees. Prior to joining the WKU Office of Student Conduct staff, Melanie served as the Student Life Coordinator at Bellarmine University, where she served as the special assistant to the Dean of Students and the Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs and Multicultural Affairs.
Mrs. Evans is also a Gallup StrengtsQuest Educator who enjoys discussing her themes of Consistency, Arranger, Developer, Harmony, and Connectedness, in addition to helping others explore their talents and strengths.
