NOTE:  University Guidelines and Proposal Formats can be found:  http://www.wku.edu/ucc/

Forms are due with proposals; for example, course inventory and library resource forms (originals).  Send Course Inventory Forms to the Office of the Registrar in Potter Hall 238 c/o Freida Eggleton, or via email at freida.eggleton@wku.edu, or fax to 5-4830.  The Provost office needs copies of all forms (Sylvia.gaiko@wku.edu ).

1)      All amendments to curriculum proposals made at the UCC meeting must be submitted in electronic format to the UCC Chair within 3 calendar (not work) days after the UCC meeting.

2)      All Consent and Action agenda items must be approved by the Senate before they go to the Provost for signature.  No items can be implemented until the Provost office has approved the actions.

3)      Revised courses must be approved through the curricular process prior to this date to be on the schedule for the beginning of priority registration.  New courses can be added after this date; however, before they can be added to the schedule, they must be approved through the normal curricular process, including approval of the Provost.  The only exception is using the Temporary course proposal, which can shorten the process.

4)      All new programs (major, minor, associate degree certificate) must be approved by the Board of Regents before they can be implemented or advertised.

Please direct all agendas, and questions about forms and procedures to the UCC Chair.
