Weaving
Weaving courses are taught in Room 469 of FAC Building. The facility maintains 11 large treadle looms for student creations. The space has an industrial sink and large tables for dyeing purposes. There are also sewing machines available for other fiber interests.
Students begin studies learning traditional techniques of weaving. Further studies
provide students opportunities to expand skills in other weaving traditions and explore
contemporary perspectives in fibers/weaving.
