ART 102 Introduction to Making Art & Making Meaning 3 Hours
A hands-on material-specific course for non-art majors. Explores the formal elements, techniques, concepts and vocabulary of visual art through physical manipulation of one or more art materials (for example ceramics, paint, metals, or fibers). UX 220 Intro to UX Design 3 Hours
Introduces user experience design theory - the practice of placing users and their needs as the focus of designing products, environments, web sites and/or applications. Students learn the five stages of "design thinking" as part of the UX process: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test.
