"Care and Keeping" Micro Scholarships


We’ve got your back.

 

“Care and Keeping” micro scholarship funds are available to address art students’ immediate basic needs, including groceries, medical expenses, gas, or portions of rent / utilities. Funds are intended for emergency financial situations, with average awards from $30 -$70. While students can re-apply if new emergencies arise, priority will be given to first-time applicants. Awards are dependent upon funding available.

 

Who is eligible? Art Majors and Art Minors

How does it work? Funding can be disbursed directly to a student.

How do I apply?  Submit a statement of need and the amount requested to: art@wku.edu

What is a statement of need?  In a few sentences, explain what the emergency situation is, why you need the money, and what you will use it for.
