UX - User Experience Certificate
UX Design is the process of designing (digital or physical) products that are useful and easy to use. It's about enhancing the user experience that people have while interacting with your product, and making sure they find value in what you're providing. Students will learn how to code and design the digital assets of a corporate, governmental, or non-profit entity. These assets include websites, apps, blogs, branded promotional material, and social media efforts. UX Designers and coders make about $35,000-$50,000 over average graphic design salaries. The UX Certificate is now apart of the Art Department.
The certificate consists of 15 hours and requires students to take:
- AD 210 Software Studio for Designers
- UX 320 User Experience Design (AD 210)
