Annual Faculty Evaluation


This information hub helps faculty, chairs/directors, and deans navigate the Annual Evaluation process at WKU.  Beginning July 1, 2024, faculty will be able to submit their Annual Activity Packet (AAP) and updated CV through WKU’s Workflow Portal (which replaces WKU’s E-signature system).  AAPs should be organized/submitted following college and department/school guidelines and deadlines. Chairs will use college Annual Evaluation Forms to complete the evaluations. College/department/school forms, criteria, and other information are linked in the left navigation of this webpage.

Continuance Materials for 2nd - 5th Year Faculty due to Department Head/Chair August 20 or next business day (FH IV.B.3.a)

Promotion and Tenure application materials due to Dept. Head

Fall 2024 Psychology Annual Evaluations

AE dates

  • Non-tenured faculty should schedule their AEs prior to 8/30 (NOTE. Materials need to be uploaded into the system by 8/20/24).
  • Associate professors schedule AEs prior to 9/13 (upload materials at least 48 hours prior to scheduled AE)
  • Full professors schedule AEs prior to 9/27 (upload materials at least 48 hours prior to scheduled AE)

  • (FYI, AAP = Annual Activity Packet)

Upload PDFs for SITEs (name: “Last name, First name, SITE Evaluations 2022-2023” if one merged file OR “Last name, First name, SITE Evaluation for PSYXXX Fall 2022” if individual files)

Upload an updated CV (as a PDF)

Note. Annual evaluations were previous referred to as annual performance reviews (APRs)

Fall 2024 STE Annual Evaluations

The School of Teacher Education (STE) Annual Evaluation (AE) for Faculty submission materials include:

  • Updated curriculum vitae (CV) with accomplishments from the current evaluation period highlighted
  • Annual Activity Packet consisting of:
    • Completed School of Teacher Education Annual Evaluation for Faculty form with self-evaluation sections completed and evidence linked
    • All faculty SITE evaluations (including student comments) from the current evaluation period

Evaluation materials should be uploaded to Boomi (reference faculty workflow directions) by the following dates:

  • Non-tenured faculty – August 20th
  • Tenured faculty – September 15th

Once materials are submitted, please schedule an appointment for an annual evaluation discussion with the STE department chair.
