Edie Pace Memorial Scholarship Fund

Edith Roslyn “Edie” Pace was born November 11, 1951, in Louisville, KY to the late Ellet Wayne Pace and Mary Anne Brown Pace.

 

Edie was a graduate of the Western Kentucky University Nursing program and had been a practicing Nurse for 48 years.  She began her nursing career at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY, spent the majority of her career at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.  During her retirement years she worked for the Meade County Board of Education as a School Nurse.  She resided in Brandenburg, KY and was a member of Radiant Church and an avid sports fan. Edie passed away Wednesday, January 05, 2022.  She was loved by many and will be fondly remembered.

 

To honor her memory, her children established the Edie Pace Memorial Scholarship Fund. The fund assists deserving WKU students pursuing a nursing degree in the LPN or ASN programs with preference to those from Meade County. Through this fund, Edie's legacy lives on in perpetuity.
