Imogene White Moore WKU Scholarship Fund


Imogene Bratcher White Moore, age 87, passed away Tuesday May 14, 2024.  The Warren County native was the daughter of the late Garland Bratcher and Mildred Wilson Bratcher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Ephram White and Odell Moore; one son, Lonnie White and his wife Debbie; one granddaughter, Renee Michell White; three brothers, Randall Bratcher, Ruby Bratcher, and Ray Bratcher, and two nephews; Mickey Bratcher and Rickey Bratcher. She is survived by one sister, Opal Sublett, nieces and nephews, Malcom Cherry, Cleve Cherry, Teresa Douglas, Jackie Edwards, Darlene Geron, Glenn Bratcher, Garry Sublett, Vicki Daniel and Lori Causey, and several great nieces and nephews.

Imogene was a member of the Richardsville Church of Christ for 65 years, where she served as a Sunday School teacher, a longtime member and past president of the Richardsville Homemakers, the Warren County Democratic Womans Club, and Warren County Democratic Executive Committee, served on the Soil Conservation Committee as secretary, was an avid WKU fan and loved to travel, volunteer, and go antiquing. She was a retired claims representative for the Social Security Office and served as past president of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

To honor her memory, friends and family established the Imogene White Moore WKU Scholarship Fund. The fund assists deserving female students with a goal to pursue working in government to obtain a higher education. Through this fund, Imogene's legacy lives on.
