Jesse Keeling Scholarship Fund
Remembering Jesse Keeling
Jesse Elizabeth Keeling was the daughter of Robert and Donna Keeling and Louisville native. Jesse was an involved student in both high school and college. As a student at Male High School, she was active in chorus as well as a member of the softball and cross country team. At Western Kentucky University Jesse pursued a degree in psychology and successfully graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in May of 2007. As an undergraduate student, Jesse was a member of WKU’s Kappa Delta chapter and Dynamic Leadership Institute. Jesse also studied abroad through WKU, spending a portion of her junior year in Sydney, Australia. She also traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to volunteer building houses for Habitat for Humanity.
Close friends described her as "full of energy and life.” Because of Jesse’s passion and dedication to Western Kentucky University, her family established the Jesse Keeling Scholarship Fund which benefits deserving students planning to get a Specialist in Education degree in School Psychology or other Masters Degree within the Department of Psychology.
