WKU Honors 44 High School Seniors from Five Area Counties

WKU honored 44 students from six high schools in five southcentral Kentucky counties for their academic achievements.This year’s group has an average ACT composite score of 27.96 and grade-point average of 3.93 and included 21 Kentucky Governor’s Scholars.
The following students from Allen, Butler, Edmonson, Logan and Simpson counties were honored at a luncheon Oct. 14 at WKU’s Augenstein Alumni Center:
Allen County-Scottsville High School: Tori Edwardson, Quinn Towery, Sydney Blankenship, William Slaten, Sam Calvert;
Butler county: Alison Kurfiss, Brittney Gruber, Emily Rich, Brittany Qualls, Haley Adkins;
Edmonson County High School: Amber Hagan, Norma Patel, Morgan Vincent, Regan Saling;
Franklin-Simpson High School: Ahleena Bell, Elizabeth Peden, Hannah Clark, Emily Clark, James Hill, Mitul Patel, Shivam Champaneria, Jordan Santimaw, Cynthia Bunton, Molly Fleming;
Logan County High School: Savannah Rogers, Molly Bell, Katelynn Collins, Chandler Larson, Kelsey Coleman, Kayla Hazel, Reagan Thomaston, Sydney Mimms, Caleb Williams, Andrew White, Ben Wright, Wesley Estes, Mark Chapman;
Russellville High School: Eduardo Rodriguez, Rachel Fisher, Jada Morris, Kelsey Patterson, Derrick Porter, Sarah Williams, Wesley Stratton.
