The WKU Recreation, Park, & Nonprofit Administration program housed in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation & Sport in the College of Health and Human Services, is pleased to announce the details of its annual job fair. The WKU Camp, Recreation, and Related Professions Job Fair is the perfect opportunity to recruit talented students looking for rewarding positions (part-time, full-time, internships, seasonal.)
Dr. Raymond Poff, Professor and Program Coordinator said “This is an amazing opportunity for WKU students and potential employers to meet and find common interests. WKU students are seeking high-quality, fulfilling employment opportunities in environments where they can thrive. The participating employers are seeking students who can help facilitate quality experiences and make meaningful contributions. Bringing employers to campus serves WKU students by greatly simplifying the job search process. This event expands student understanding of potential job opportunities; likely exposing them to organizations they’ve never heard of or considered.”
Camp, recreation, and related profession agencies typically offer a variety of jobs in many different areas (i.e. recreation, event planning and management, youth leadership, music, art, technology, ministry, recreation/sport skills instruction, aquatics, equestrian, etc.). This diversity greatly increases the likelihood of students finding a position that fits their interests and complements their area of study.
