STEP 1
Complete the WKU Undergraduate Application at wku.edu/apply.
Information for completing the WKU admission application:
Before you begin, gather the names and addresses and dates of attendance for the high
school and any colleges you attended.
You will be asked to create a login account to start the process. Be sure to write
down your login in and PIN you create so that you save your work and return to finish
your application later.
Select "yes” for “Do you plan to earn a degree at WKU?”
January Participants: Select Winter as the Application Term
July Participants: Select Summer as the Application Term
Complete the information under each section marked
***IMPORTANT*** Be sure to provide the email address that you access and check frequently.
Under Planned Course of Study:
Category of Study > Certificate
Planned Course of Study > Organizational Leadership
Primary Location of Enrollment > Elizabethtown (campus includes Ft. Knox)
When all sections are complete as indicated by a check mark, click "Submit Application."
You are not responsible for paying the WKU application fee for admission. Select the “pay by check
or money order option" to complete your application.
STEP 2
Submit the Release Form. (Please note: Form is fillable and works best in Google Chrome.) Additionally, please print the form, sign, scan, and email to crissy.priddy@wku.edu. As part of your admissions process, we will need to secure official transcripts of
all previous colleges you have attended. And, for students with fewer than 24 credits,
a high school transcript is required.
A WKU Representative will contact you by email and/or by phone to set up an appointment
to talk with you about the process.
Additional Information regarding WKU Admission
Students applying for admission to WKU who are over 21, are not required to have ACT
or SAT test scores.
Transfer Students are applicants with more than 24 earned college credits which includes
those awarded through the Joint Services Transcript
Your high school transcript will not be required.
An official transcript from each institution you have attended that includes a grade
for courses taken will be required. As part of your participation in MEC, WKU will
work to secure these on your behalf.
