Availability of format varies by topic. Read the course description carefully so that you understand the format for the course you select. Most courses are completely self-paced, fully online, and available whenever you are ready to enroll.
Other formats include:
- “Instructor-Led” online courses have specific course begin dates and you participate as part of a
cohort. These feature an instructor-moderated discussion board so you can interact
with your fellow students.
- “Live online” or “remote” courses have scheduled meeting times that include a live instructor.
- In-person training is available in a few cases.
Most personal enrichment courses are short courses that simply come with a certificate of completion. None of these courses count for university credit.
