Ms. Ransdell graduated from WKU in 1984 with an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene.  She has worked in private practice (both general and specialty), as well as public health.  Since then, Ms. Ransdell has furthered her education to include a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene and a M.A. degree in Adult Education from WKU. 

Currently, Ms. Ransdell is an instructor and first year clinical coordinator in the Dental Hygiene program.  She is also one of two advisors for the Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association.  This student organization is actively involved in promoting oral health and the dental hygiene profession by participating in community outreach.  In addition, she has also been an adjunct faculty member in second year clinic, radiology lab, oral anatomy lab, dental materials lab, and histology lab.
