IdeaFestival Bowling Green is an annual one-day celebration of ideas and imagination designed to inspire the next generation of creators, thinkers, and innovators. Hosted by The Center for Gifted Studies at WKU since 2014 and created in cooperation with the original IdeaFestival® in Louisville, our event brings passionate and motivated middle and high school students and interested community members from throughout the region to the WKU campus for a morning of speaker sessions and an afternoon of minds-on, hands-on activities. The whole day highlights innovation, curiosity, entrepreneurship, community engagement, and creativity across a variety of fields.

WKU Math Club will have our first meeting of the semester next Thursday, February 15 from 4 – 5 pm in COHH 4124. We will have pizza and snacks, build some origami polyhedra, and decide on what fun and mathematical things to do in March and April!

The Gender & Women's Studies program will have its second Open Mic Night, hosted by MFA student Sydney Thier. In addition to creative writing pieces on the topic of gender, we also invite reminisces of GWS student, Daishyera Garner.

The 2024 Lost River Sessions Live series kicks off with headliner Zachary Lucky and opening act Tramp at 7 p.m. February 15 at The Capitol, 416 E. Main St. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15; students free with ID.
