What does FMA at WKU do?
The Financial Management Association at Western Kentucky University provides an environment for students to learn from and build relationships with local business professionals. These professionals offer helpful insight and guidance to students preparing to enter the business world.
How to join
Join FMA today and learn more about what it takes to be a successful finance professional. FMA offers two types of memberships - regular and honors.
Annual membership dues are $40 ($35 FMA International dues + $5 local dues) for a regular membership and $45 ($40 for FMA International dues + $5 local dues) for an honors membership. National Honors Society members may order a sash to wear at graduation for an additional $19.95. Send an email to Dr. Snavely to request a code for completing the application for National Honors Society membership before applying online.
Use this link to join. Pay $5 local dues to either Dr. Snavely (GH 328) or Mrs. Holmes (GH 334).
There is also a local membership which does not include membership in the international FMA organization. Local membership is $10 per year. Pay either Dr. Snavely or Mrs. Holmes.
FMA Meetings
FMA meets from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in Grise Hall 342 usually on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

FMA International
The WKU chapter of FMA is a member of the parent organization, Financial Management Association International. Membership offers a variety of benefits including tips and links for conducting job searches, discussion boards to communicate with other students and finance professionals, information regarding finance-related certifications, professional videos, and electronic access to professional journals.
