Graduate Certificate in History
The History Department offers a Graduate Certificate in History option within our existing M.A. in History and M.A. in Education programs. Using existing graduate and "G" courses, students may choose the area in which they will specialize, with the approval of the graduate advisor. Upon the completion of 12 hours, the student would be awarded the certificate. Students who decide to pursue the M.A. degree in history may use the certificate area as a field of concentration in their M.A. exams.
In order to be awarded a Graduate Certificate in History, students must apply and be accepted into the M.A. program.
