The City of Bowling Green
Bowling Green is home to Western Kentucky University. With a population of 60,000, it is now considered the third largest city in the state. Situated in south-central Kentucky, it is 60 miles north of Nashville, TN, and 120 miles south of Louisville and is the economic center of the region. WKU is located in the heart of Bowling Green. The City is big enough to have everything you need, but small enough to make you feel at home.
There are several area attractions, including historic downtown, an aviation heritage park, festivals, music and local events - many taking place in the downtown area, which is adjacent to WKU.
