hree WKU students have been honored by the nationally competitive Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program.Demarcus Brooks, Linda Cruz and Brianna Stewart were named Gilman Scholars and will receive up to $5,000 each for study abroad.

Six WKU students have been honored by the nationally competitive Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program. Bridgette Davis, Amy Givens, Jeremiah Stringer, Megan Lemily and Cody Tutt were names Gilman Scholars.

WKU students continued to raise the bar in 2013-14 as a record 42 students earned recognition in national scholarship competitions.

The Office of Scholar Development (OSD) has awarded 13 WKU students a total of $19,894 in Lifetime Experience Grants in the 2013-14 academic year.

Emily Potts will spend the summer studying in Ireland, thanks to a prestigious grant. She has received the Gaeltacht Summer Award from the Ireland-United States Commission for Educational Exchange.
