The Final Word examines the art of stonecutters and other artisans whose work graces Kentucky’s cemeteries and explores the fascinating stories of the denizens from these alabaster cities. Pysanky is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist (batik) method. This workshop will provide you with a basic background of the art of Pysanky egg dying and take you step by step through the making of at least one egg to take home with you.
