Have you wondered if all the myths about corsets are true? Curious about why so many women (and men) have started wearing corsets openly as part of their wardrobe? Alisha Martin, Founder of The Bad Button Bespoke Corsets, will dispel some of the hyperbole and take questions about the modern corset wearer and the niche craft of corsetry.
Martin's talk begins at 4:30pm on Thursday, April 14, at the Kentucky Museum. Following the talk, Martin will have corsets available to try on, answer questions about modern corsetry making, and invite guests to tour the Kentucky Museum's Styles &thegistofit exhibition.
This event is open to the public and is a swipeable event for WKU students.
