Announcing a 2% Salary Increase
- Thursday, November 3rd, 2022
Dear Colleagues,
We remain committed to moving the needle on compensation at WKU, and today we are pleased to announce we have accepted the Budget Executive Committee’s recommendation to implement a 2% across-the-board salary increase, effective January 1, 2023, for all WKU faculty and staff hired on or before August 1, 2022. Human Resources will be in contact with the appropriate personnel for any follow-up action that may be necessary for implementation.
This salary adjustment, coupled with no employee healthcare contribution increase in five years and recent enhancements to our overall compensation package, including five additional days of paid time off and the implementation of recommended salary adjustments following our compensation analysis, helps ensure that WKU remains a competitive workplace.
Thank you for your personal investment in the lives of our students and our university. We appreciate your commitment to transforming lives and the work you continue to do to carve the best path forward for our institution.
Best,
Timothy C. Caboni
