Political Science Alumni granted right to argue in Supreme Court

Amy Milliken, a WKU alumni who studied Political Science and Criminology has recently recieved the privelege of presenting cases in front of the Supreme Court. She was sworn in on Jan. 22 in front of the nine Supreme Court Justices along with ten other lawyers. She was the only lawyer to take the oath from the state of Kentucky.
Milliken graduated from WKU in 1993 and attended Northwestern University School of Law. Milliken says she always knew she wanted to be a lawyer. In 2004, she was sworn in as the first female county attorney in Bowling Green. She is also a ver dedicated board member of the Alumni Association. Milliken speaks highly of the Bowling Green community, and is still very proud to be a Western Kentucky Hilltopper.
