WKU CCSJ to host second lecture in 'Social Justice Salons' series on Oct. 16

The WKU Center for Citizenship & Social Justice will host the second lecture of its Fall 2018 "Social Justice Salons" series from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 16 at Downing Student Union, room 2123.
October is recognized as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Dr. Dana Cuomo of the Diversity & Community Studies Department will present “Domestic Violence & Vicarious Abuse: Inside an Exchange and Visitations Center.”
“Social Justice Salons” is a lecture series for WKU faculty, staff, students and community members to gather and discuss complex contemporary issues surrounding citizenship and social justice. The typical format of “Social Justice Salons” includes a short presentation on a topic, followed by facilitated discussion.
The salon is open to anyone interested in participating. Refreshments will be provided.
