WKU CCSJ to host 'Social Justice Salons' lecture on Nov. 19

The WKU Center for Citizenship & Social Justice will host the fall semester’s final lecture in the “Social Justice Salons” series on Nov. 19.
Dr. Marla Zubel of the WKU English Department will present “Cinema & Social Justice from 1968 to Present” from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Downing Student Union, room 2123.
In the “Social Justice Salons” series, WKU faculty, staff, students and community members gather to discuss complex contemporary issues surrounding citizenship and social justice. The typical format of “Social Justice Salons” includes a short presentation on a topic followed by facilitated discussion.
The event is open to anyone interested in participating. Refreshments will be provided. “Social Justice Salons” will be held monthly during the 2019 spring semester.
