Happy Holidays!
- Friday, December 14th, 2018
Dear Colleagues:
With today’s end of the fall term and as you wrap up and head out for the break, I want to express my appreciation for all you have done this semester. Your individual efforts elevate WKU and advance our institutional climb. For those of you who still will be working during the coming weeks to keep our university running or teaching a Winter Term course, a special thank-you.
As we continue our work together, remember no matter our role, we each care deeply for WKU, its success, and its future. Though there will be disagreements and missteps along the way, we each share the same hope for our university.
And while it is easy to get lost in the minutiae of each day or to be consumed by the most recent challenge we confront, we must not lose sight of our common goals: to help more of our students graduate; to improve the lives of those in our Commonwealth and our community; to answer society’s most vexing questions; and to make our world a better place through education.
Thank you for a remarkable semester on the Hill. I hope you take the opportunity to rest, recharge, and come back refreshed for the spring. Enjoy your time off, be safe if you travel and have a happy holiday season.
Best,
Timothy C. Caboni
