Gallery Hop @ Kentucky Museum on October 18th

The Kentucky Museum will be open extended hours, 5pm - 8pm, during the October 18th Gallery Hop. Hop on in and see three new exhibits encompassing Art, History and Culture.

  • Basketry Now is the National Basketry Organization’s 10th anniversary juried exhibition. NBO biennial exhibitions have become an important record of artistic work within traditional and contemporary basketry.
  • In 2019, the Kentucky Building celebrates 80 years of showcasing South Central Kentucky’s unique culture and heritage. In honor of this milestone, the Kentucky Museum presents Out of the Box.
  • Facing the Freshman Year: Essential Conversations tells stories of freshmen year from participants in a student success initiative, WKU Freshmen Guided Pathway (FGP). FGP assists students as they negotiate the often difficult affective and academic shifts between high school and college.
