Kentucky Museum Virtual Connection

Although the Kentucky Museum is closed to the public, Museum personnel are working diligently as they continue to engage remotely with WKU students and faculty. In addition to remaining connected with our WKU audience, the Museum also wanted to provide rich virtual content to our larger community. To that end, the new KENTUCKY MUSEUM VIRTUAL CONNECTION (KMVC) webpage serves as a central location for the Museum’s online resources. The page is divided into sections such as virtual tours, for kids, photo galleries, online exhibits, and more.
One popular example from the KMVC would be the recent addition of the 2020 US Bank Celebration of the Arts Show photo gallery. Currently housed at the Museum, this beloved annual exhibit is physically inaccessible to the public, however, through the online photo gallery both contributing artists and other virtual visitors can still enjoy the displayed works.
Museum personnel will continue to add to the KMVC page regularly, as well as post virtual content on all of the Museum’s social media platforms.
