Kentucky Museum seeks US Bank Celebration of the Arts Award Sponsors

The US Bank Celebration of the Arts show will be an in-person show at the Kentucky Museum, opening February 25, 2022. This year’s show features three new awards categories, recognizing distinctions in artistic forms including Drawing/Illustration, Digital Art/Graphic Design, and Printmaking.
Awards recognize artists in first, second, and third place for each category, with both professional and amateur tiers. These awards are sponsored by businesses and individuals throughout South Central Kentucky, and all gifts are given directly to the artist recognized for their achievements.
With the addition of new categories, the Kentucky Museum is now seeking sponsors for the following awards:
- US Bank Purchase Award - $500 to the artist whose work is purchased for the Kentucky Museum’s permanent collection.
- Ceramics & Glass
- First Place, Professional - $175
- Third Place, Professional - $100
- Digital Art/Graphic Design
- First Place, Professional - $175
- Second Place, Professional - $125
- Third Place, Professional - $100
- First Place, Amateur - $75
- Painting – Second Place, Amateur - $50
- Printmaking
- First Place, Professional - $175
- Second Place, Professional - $125
- First Place, Amateur - $75
- Second Place, Amateur - $50
- Watercolor
- First Place, Amateur - $75
- Second Place, Amateur - $50
- General Show Sponsorsto help cover additional costs. Show sponsors are recognized based on level of giving, including:
- Arts Ally, $1 to $99
- Arts Patron, $100 to $499
- Arts Champion, $500 or more

Award sponsorships are given on a first-come, first-serve basis and should be made by January 15, 2022. Payment may be made via the secure online form above or by mailing a check to:

Once all awards have been filled, additional gifts will be recognized as general show sponsors.
All proceeds from the US Bank Celebration of the Arts show support the Kentucky Museum’s fine arts collections and programs.
