Biography

Dr. Anthony Mancini completed his B.S. in Exercise Science at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2011 and his DPT degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2014. Upon graduating from physical therapy school Dr. Mancini went on to complete an orthopedic residency in 2016 and earned a board-certified specialization in orthopedics (OCS). During this time, he worked primarily in a rural setting working with chronic pain and orthopedic patients as well as pediatric patients. In 2017, Dr. Mancini moved to Nashville to open a practice treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions and patients with limb loss. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic and manual therapy through Bellin University in Wisconsin in 2020, earning his FAAOMPT status. Since 2020, Dr. Mancini has been teaching continuing education courses to licensed physical therapists with a focus on dry needling as well as orthopedic management courses for Upstream Rehabilitations residency program. He is a member of the APTA and has served the TN chapter in several roles including the New Horizons chair and Membership chair. Dr. Mancini played rugby throughout college and still enjoys activities such as skateboarding, hunting and competing in BBQ competitions on the weekend.
