The Western Kentucky University Police Department (WKUPD) offers jump starts to any student, faculty, or staff member needing assistance with weak or dead batteries.

To initiate a request, contact the WKU Police Department at 270-745-2677(COPS).

Drivers should be prepared to give their exact location, the make and model of their vehicle, their WKU ID#, and contact information.

The dispatcher will ask the driver to raise the hood of their vehicle if possible, to help the responding officer quickly identify their vehicle.
