Information for Instructors

Instructors of PSYS 100 (and PSY 100) taught on the main campus, South campus or the web during a regular semester have a research requirement that is typically fulfilled by a student earning 12 Study Board credits.  All other sections of PSYS 100 (and PSY 100) have a research requirement of 2 Study Board credits.  All students enrolled in PSYS 100 and PSY 100 will automatically have accounts added to the Study Board.   

If an instructor wishes to have students participate in Study Board activities for a class that is not PSYS 100 (or PSY 100), please contact the Study Board Administrator and provide the course and section numbers for each class you wish to add. Also, indicate whether participation is for extra credit or required credit (if required, indicate how many credits are required). You will have to provide this information each semester for which you want participation.

Instructor accounts are typically not deleted.  If you are a first-time instructor or cannot remember your account information, please contact the Study Board Administrator  to have an account created for you.  For more information about instructor accounts, select the appropriate link from the menu.

2	PSYS/PSY 100 during winter or summer terms
12	PSYS 160 (if a student is enrolled in PSYS 100 and PSYS 160 during a single semester, then the credits may be double-counted).
Extra Credit	Other PSY and PSYS course as determined by the instructor
