Information session to share about the positions and the hiring process

Candidates need to be able to process information quickly, analyze data and critically think about situations to make the best decisions possible in a fast-paced environment.  Interpersonal skills including being able to communicate, written and verbally, complex information in a simple way to others.   Also those individuals who are eager to work diligently on a heavy case load will do best in this role, as the job is demanding and at times stressful.  A bachelor’s degree is all that is required, and in some unique cases, an associate’s will be considered when paired with previous relevant work experience.

The SSA has hiring preferences of Veterans and those with Military service and also those who qualify under Schedule A (anyone with a physical or mental limitation – learning disabilities included, not just physical).
