What: Secretary Grimes’ GoVoteKY Tour
When: Wednesday, October 5; 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. ET
Where: Elizabethtown Community and Technical College; Regional Postsecondary Center, Room 229
Details: We transformed Kentucky elections with the launch of the Commonwealth's online voter registration system in the Spring. Now, more than 38,000 Kentuckians have used GoVoteKY.com to register to vote for the first time or update their registration!
Following the launch, Secretary Grimes embarked on a statewide tour to lead the largest voter registration drive in more than a decade -- and that continues this fall!
Secretary Grimes will speak to students, professors, staff and community members about online voter registration and lead a discussion on the importance of voting and other needed election reforms.
This event is free and open to the public. Those who are not registered to vote will have the opportunity to register at this time. The deadline to register to vote in this year’s general election is October 11.
