Our Master of Science in Recreation & Sport Administration (RSA) is designed to prepare professionals for a rewarding career in a variety of sectors within the industry. The M.S. in RSA is offered on-campus or 100% online and is customized to meet individual professional goals. Our five concentrations and three certificate program options allow our students the opportunity to enhance their competency, marketability, and professional network. 

Program courses are taught by faculty who have both prior and current experience in the recreation and sport industry and want to see students succeed in the field. Make an investment in yourself, by making WKU RSA a part of your future!

When completing the online application, students should select “Recreation & Sport Administration” as the planned course of study followed by selecting the appropriate concentration. The five concentrations to choose from include 1) General (on-campus), 2) Athletic Administration & Coaching, 3) Facility & Event Management, 4) Intercollegiate Athletic Administration, and 5) Sport Media & Branding.

Students intending to pursue a Graduate Certificate can follow the same application instructions. The three graduate certificate options include: 1) Facility & Event Management, 2) Intercollegiate Athletic Administration, and 3) Nonprofit Administration.
