Kelly Foust '04

Kelly Foust earned a BA in Sociology from WKU in 2004.  Her fondest memories of the Department of Sociology and Criminology include her classes with Dr. Kanan.  “I enjoyed Dr. Kanan so much that I recommended my whole family take his class!  My two sons, Josh and Tyler (WKU-2017), took his ‘Introduction to Sociology’ class and then my husband, who is retired from the Army, took his class!” 

Kelly interned as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) during her undergraduate studies and was hired immediately following graduation at LifeSkills.  She has served in a variety of positions at LifeSkills ever since, including a Supports for Community Living (SCL) Medicaid Waiver Case Manager, Vocational Counselor, and Community Employment Services Manager (where she oversees Supported Employment and Workforce Resources).  In her words, “I love working at LifeSkills because I love helping people—especially when I get to see the transformation that employment can make is someone’s life, both mentally and financially.”  Currently, Kelly is completing her MSW from WKU.
