Tabby Seabolt

Tabby Seabolt '09

Tabby Seabolt graduated in 2009 with bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in criminology. After graduation Tabby decided to homeschool her kids for the next seven years. During that time she worked various entry level positions to gain experience. She then started to work as a Presentence Investigator with Probation and Parole.

“I work with the best people in the Department of Corrections. My colleagues go above and beyond to do a very tough job day in and day out.” Said Tabby.

When asked about her time at WKU Tabby said her favorite professor was Dr. Daday. If one of his classes had an open spot, she took it. “He could make any theory interesting to me.” Tabby’s message for students interested in criminology is to make connections with people in bdifferent areas of the criminal justice system. She also advises getting to know and understand the workload of your chosen field. Some jobs may be tougher than others, “But you’ll go home at the end of the day knowing you’ve helped someone get back on the road to success.”
