Sarah Dimercurio, Outstanding Sexuality Studies Minor

Congratulations to Sarah Dimercurio who has been awarded the Outstanding Student Award for the Sexuality Studies Minor.

My major at WKU is Social work with a minor in sexuality studies. I am an intern at Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center. The sociology department has helped me understand how the social world influences others and how they act. I would like to continue to work with survivors of sexual assault or domestic violence in the future.  I believe that the classes I have taken will help me better understand and help my clients.
