Alexis Hutcheson, Jennie B. & N.O. Taff Scholarship Award Winner

Congratulations to Alexis Hutchenson for winning the Jennie N.O. Taff Scholarship Award.

Alexis is enjoying her time learning from the faculty in the Sociology and Criminology Department. She feels that the faculty have been one of the most impactful things during her time at WKU. Alexis is thankful that the motivation of the people working in the department helped fuel her ambitions and drive her towards success. “The teachers and staff members have helped me make connections and transition into a university from a technical college.”

Alexis is still considering her options after graduation. She plans to either go to graduate school and earn a masters degree in clinical psychology. If she does this she will use her education to work with inmates therapeutically. The other option she is considering is attending law school to become a prosecutor or defense attorney.
