Review the Key Assessment Data Collection Course Alignment Table

Procedure:

  • Instructors are responsible for linking the key assessment Blackboard assignment submission to Anthology. Refer to one of the following guides for instructions on creating the link (Blackboard Ultra guide or Blackboard Original guide)
  • Students submit the assignment in Blackboard.
  • Instructors access key assessments via their Anthology account dashboard.
  • Instructors score each key assessment submission in Anthology using the rubric associated with the submission.
  • Optional: Upon completing the rubric, instructors may enter a grade in Anthology that will translate to the Blackboard gradebook. This step is not required.

Student Dispositions

Procedure:

  • Instructors and cooperating teachers complete the dispositions rating form found here.
  • Submit the completed forms to OPES.
  • Meet with students earning scores of 1 on any dispositions criteria.
  • Communicate concerns to OPES.
  • OPES staff will facilitate the upload of scores to Anthology.
  • OPES staff will provide follow-up with students about whom concerns were expressed.

Student Teaching Evaluation – Kentucky Framework for Teaching (KyFft)

University Supervisor submits the following directly into Anthology:

  • Four formative observations
  • Two formal evaluations (middle and final)
  • Two dispositions

Important note: MAT students, although pursuing initial licensure, will be scored using the advanced programs dispositions instrument. Please refer to the appropriate section for information regarding the procedures for collecting dispositions on students in advanced programs.
